Culinary Arts

If you enjoy planning parties for special occasions and are interested in working with the public, this two-year program may be for you. In Culinary Arts, students will learn how to prepare and serve food to the public.  In order to learn about hands-on food service operations, students help staff a school-based restaurant, Bistro 81 at Ridgewood, which is open to the public on Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 - 12:30.  Students will have an opportunity to earn college credit while in high school.

See the Virtual Spring Open House for incoming Compact students participating in Culinary Arts.
