Nursing Assistant Care

This one-year Career and Technical Education program prepares students to learn the skills needed to earn the Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant Certification (STNA).  Students will spend a minimum of seventy-five (75) hours in class at Barberton High School; and, a minimum of sixteen (16) hours of supervised clinical experience at Pleasant View Health Care Center.  The student will complete American Heart Association CPR and First-Aid.

The objective of this program is to provide high school students with the opportunity to receive an entry-level position in the health care field.
