Carpentry Students Working Hard

The Compact's Carpentry students (program @ WHS) have been busy, and have made great progress on the house they are building on Pine Street in Wadsworth. The walls are now up and the roof is being finished. Once that is done the students will work beside electric and plumbing contractors and continue their building inside. The house will be sold at auction next summer. It is near 3 other homes the program students have built in previous years and a small city playground/picnic area. There aren't many hands on projects that can match this one as far as providing real world EXPERIENCE for our students, many of whom find good paying jobs with benefits right out of high school. Keep up the good work Carpentry students you are going to make some future home owners very happy!
