Compact Student Compete at Skills USA

A huge CONGRATULATIONS to our Four Cities Compact students who placed in the top 3 at the Skills USA State competition in Columbus.  First place GOLD Medals went to Nursing Program seniors Chloe Gabler (NHS) in Basic Health Care Skills and Rachel Denee (WHS) in Practical Nursing.  Nursing Program Senior Mary Krege (BHS) won second place SILVER in Health Occupations Portfolio, as did the Fire Safety Program team of Caden Bux (WHS) and Grace Swain (WHS) in the EMT category.  Nursing Program senior Bella Parker won BRONZE in the Job Demonstration category.  All of these students will have an opportunity to participate in the National Skills USA competition in Atlanta this June.  We are COMPACT PROUD of each one of them, and all our other students that represented our schools in the competition. We again would like to thank our teachers: Don Begert, Cindy Boswell, Tim McCurry, Jeremy Milford, Deb Ritz and Kip Shipley for all their work preparing our students.
