Animal Science Students Assist with C-Section

Big day of some real hands on learning at the Compact’s Animal Care and Vet Science Program at Copley High School. Students were able to assist with a C-Section puppy birth along with Med Vet Akron staff! The procedure was performed on site in the program’s surgical suite. Students even received some cool glasses, and Med Vet water bottles! Many thanks to Dr. Costanzo and Dr. Callard, as well as Dabira Britton RVT. Also, to teacher Rachel McClenaghan for setting up this fantastic learning experience!
