Norton Students Serve Veterans

Here's a great news item from Norton High School’s FCCLA (Family, Career, Community Leaders of America) group! Student members recently made a pancake breakfast as part of the school's Veterans’ Day Program. The kitchen was busy with over 300 pancakes and 400 links of sausage being prepared! The breakfast also included fruit, coffee, tea, juice and milk.

FCCLA members arrived bright and early and began work at 7 AM in the school’s cooking lab. Breakfast was served at 8:00, followed by an assembly to honor our servicemen and women. Family Consumer Science classes in all four Compact districts fall under the Career Tech Education umbrella. Way to go Norton FCCLA! What a wonderful way to show appreciation to our Veterans!
