Engineering Student Begins Internship

Outstanding WHS Senior student, Bethany Baker, from the Compact's Engineering Design and Technology Program (at Wadsworth High School) recently began an internship at SFS Intec in Medina. She has the opportunity to learn from a number of co-op mentors there, including process design team leader Blaise. She also gets to cycle through and learn about a number of departments at the Manufacturing facility to ensure a well rounded experience, which could lead to other opportunities with the company upon graduation. SFS is one of the great Compact partners that have systems in place to help grow and develop future Engineers, Machine Operators, and workers of all types! Many thanks to Jackie Schulte, Blaise, and all others at SFS for their help providing truly one of a kind learning opportunities that simply cannot be replicated in a classroom!
