Compact Set to Add 3 New Programs

The Four Cities Compact is excited to announce that they will be adding 2 new programs, as well as combining 2 of their exisiting programs into one for the 2022-2023 school year.  Diversified Medical Technologies will be opening at Wadsworth High School, while the Teacher Academy will be opening at Norton High School.  At Barberton High School, we are combining the Business Management and Marketing programs to form the Business Marketing Academy.  You can learn a little more about each of these programs by reading below, clicking the program name or talking with someone at the Compact Office.

 

Diversified Medical Technologies

  • Will take both Juniors AND Seniors*
    • *1 year Senior program for 2022-23 school year only
  • 3 periods for each level
  • Science credit for Anatomy (taken Senior year)
  • Industry credentials for Phlebotomy and CPR/First Aid
  • CCP Medical Terminology (taken Junior year)
  • Internship/Work-Based Learning opportunities at local hospitals
  • College Credit available
  • A strong science backround is beneficial

Teacher Academy

  • Will take both Juniors AND Seniors*
    • *1 year Senior program for 2022-23 school year only
  • 3 periods for each level
  • Industry credentials for CPR/First Aid and possibly Child Development
  • College Credit Available
  • Opportunity to work with students of different age levels

Business Marketing Academy

  • Students will be exposed to aspects of both Business AND Marketing their Junior year, then have the ability to specialize in an area of their choice their Senior year.
  • Potential areas of capstone experience during the Senior year inlcude: Entrepreneurship, sales, management, logistics, supply chain and finance
