CHS Students Volunteer at Ronald McDonald House

The Ronald McDonald House in Akron, Ohio is serving as a new Job Training work site for students from Copley High School. For those who don’t know, the Ronald McDonald House is an amazing organization whose mission is to enrich lives through comfort, care and supportive services for families with loved ones being treated by Akron Children’s Hospital and local medical facilities. Ronald McDonald House has been serving families since 1985 with the help of hard-working volunteers and gracious donations from the community. Our Copley students are a few of the many volunteers that volunteer each week at the Akron facility. Their main duty is folding all the clean laundry that comes in, and making sure the laundry storage rooms are stocked with clean linens for families staying on site. Copley High School and the Four Cities Compact are excited to be a small part of such a great organization! Thanks to The Ronald McDonald House of Akron, Ohio for all that you do, and for providing our students with a wonderful learning opportunity!!
